We are celebrating a birthday today and the birthday child wanted sushi. I have made sushi a few times, but I can promise that mine is not close to the sushi I get to buy at Maitree in Hokksund.
I think it will be very delicious when I put the sushi on a plate instead of serving it from the plastic trays they are delivered on.
We bought Japanese style plates and good chopsticks a few years ago.
I have decorated the table in a Japanese way, with Japanese figures from Black Design and Japanese cherry blossoms in vases from Kähler.
For dessert, I will serve chocolate fondant with chili, so I will not be completely on the lazy side today either.
