Taco pizza with chicken is popular with us and a nice variation on the Friday taco.
I use regular pizza base which you can find the recipe for HERE .
1 glass of taco sauce with the desired strength
400 g chicken fillet in strips
1 onion in strips
1 bag, or homemade taco seasoning
1/2 finely shredded leek
10 mini tomatoes, divided into two
1 small box of corn
Slices of jalapeño (if you dare)
Grated cheese, preferably well stored
1 bag of tortilla chips – nachos
Chicken and onion are fried in a little oil together with taco seasoning.
The taco sauce is used as a pizza sauce. You can choose the strength you like best, but I use medium strong sauce. In addition to the chicken, I add finely chopped leeks, chunks of tomato, corn, jalapeño and of course cheese. Bake the taco pizza at 230 degrees, in the middle of the oven and towards the end of the cooking time, add tortilla chips. They taste extra good when they get a little warm.
Serve taco pizza with guacamole or sour cream.
