I have taken this lasagna completely out of my own head, without inspiration from anywhere. I thought some kind of Greek lasagna should work and I think this one tastes really good.
2 finely chopped onions
500 g lamb dough
1 box chopped tomatoes (preferably Mutti)
2 carrots in small cubes
4 finely chopped sun-dried tomatoes
4 finely chopped marinated artichoke hearts
1 bay leaf
1 cinnamon bark
1 tablespoon chicken stock
1 tablespoon tzatziki spices
1 ts pepper
1 tassel of oregano
2 finely chopped cloves of garlic
6 lasagne plates
1 glass of feta cheese
1 pk grated cheese
Brown the lamb dough together with the onion in a little of the oil from the feta cheese. Add carrots, chopped tomatoes, finely chopped sun-dried tomatoes, artichoke, bay leaf, cinnamon bark, oregano, chicken stock, garlic and spices. Let it simmer for 1 hour.
Put some of the meat sauce in the bottom of a fireproof dish. Add half of the feta cheese cubes. Add 3 lasagne plates and then more sauce, a new layer of lasagne plates and then the rest of the sauce. Sprinkle cheese on top and stick the rest of the feta cheese in between the grated cheese. Bake deep in the oven at 180 degrees for approx. 45 minutes, until the cheese has a nice color.
Served with Greek salad and tzatziki.
