This sauce tastes great with beef and is not that difficult to make. It is suitable as an accessory for 4 people.
1 finely chopped onion
1 pk chanterelles
1 pk sliced mushroom
1 tbsp beef stock
1 tablespoon blackcurrant syrup
5 dl cream
2 bay leaves
Brown the onion in butter, together with the chanterelles and mushrooms. Add fondant, blackcurrant syrup, cream, bay leaves. Cook until it has a good sauce consistency and season with salt and pepper. Stir in a little butter, so the sauce is shiny, fish out the bay leaves and serve.
