5-spice (5-spices)

You can hardly cook Chinese food without 5-spice. It tastes so good and exciting. I can get it in my shop, but in most shops it has not arrived yet, so here is the recipe for making it yourself:

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 teaspoon allspice

1 teaspoon fennel seeds

1 teaspoon star anise

1 ts szechuanpepper

Everything is crushed in a mortar, mixed well and packed tightly until it is to be used, so it retains its taste. If you do not have a mortar, you can pour everything into the blender and run at full power, until the mixture is as fine as flour.
