This dish is great if you have leftovers from a steak meal. The recipe can also be used for other types of meat, such as chicken.

Lettuce leaves, preferably several kinds

Cucumber, divided into cubes

Mini tomatoes, divided into 2 el. 4, depending on the size

Peppers, divided into cubes


Grated cheese, preferably well stored

Pine nuts, lightly toasted in a dry frying pan

Sprouts, such as radish sprouts

Steak stalks, cut into strips


Lay all the ingredients in layers on a platter, so everything is visible.

Drizzle over a good olive oil and balsamic vinegar when serving.
