Lebanese beef stew tastes great, but is not particularly strong, if you do not add extra chili.
500 g large festival strips
2 onions in strips
1 green pepper
1 dl water
Marinade for Lebanese beef stew:
1 ss ketsjup
1 tbsp tomato puree
1/2 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 cloves finely chopped garlic
1 finely chopped green chili, or more if you like
1/4 ts pepper
Mix all the ingredients and let the meat marinate, at least 1 hour, but preferably until the next day. Fry the meat mixture together with the onion in a frying pan. Add paprika and water and cook for 5 min. Serve Lebanese beef stew with rice or couscous.
