My laundry room - so cozy that it's almost fun to wash clothes

My laundry room - so cozy that it's almost fun to wash clothes

After we refurbished the laundry room, the laundry has almost become pleasurable, but only almost.

The interior design is Herregård from Sigdal and I have got some smart solutions, such as a built-in ironing board and a really spacious broom cabinet, which contains both detergents, long brooms and various other typical laundry room items. The box for cat food was bought in the interior shop at Eikersenteret in Hokksund many years ago.

The color of the wall is from Jotun and is called "Sand Dune".

The cozy pictures on the wall are heirlooms from my grandmother.

In the window I have decorated with herbs in a hanging pot. I bought the stylish laundry buckets at Stepin in Hokksund.

One has been given a new sticker, which shows that the vacuum cleaner hose has been given a permanent place there.

On the bench I have decorated with a home crocheted tablecloth, crocheted candle lanterns from Min Josefine and a cozy jar from Interflora, with snowdrops in it.

The black sink is from Ikea and the worktop comes from Byggmakker.

The rug comes from Bohus, is available in several lengths and is easy to put in the washing machine when needed.

In the ceiling hangs a practical device for hanging laundry. I drop a barbell when I hang up the clothes and pull it up again, so the clothes do not hang in the way all the time.

In the porch door from the laundry room, we have installed a cat door. This is decorated with a cozy sticker, which I found online.

The laundry room has simply become a perfect workplace when it comes to laundry.
