There is nothing that smells better than laundry that has been allowed to hang out in the fresh air. I have wanted a drying rack of the nostalgic kind for several years and now it has finally become a reality.
It is sold as a ready-made kit at Byggmakker in Hokksund and we have adapted it to our taste, with some shelf kernels we had lying around and which we painted white. I think the result was beautiful.
For the clothespins, I have used an old milk bucket, which has been inherited for several generations, but it is certainly possible to find something similar in second-hand shops.
The joy was great when I could finally hang up the freshly washed bedding outside.
