The lounge by day and by night – two completely different atmospheres. Behind the house, towards the forest, we have created a small oasis. It consists of outdoor furniture, a hot tub with associated shower and some plants. We have flowers, as well as herbs that like it best if they are allowed to stand a little sheltered. We sit here a lot and eat breakfast in the summer.
I bought the wrought iron lamp at Step In in Hokksund and I found the wall lamps at Bohus. The sofa and table come from NovaSolo in Sandefjord. The chairs come from Sika design. The chairs are the same we have for the dining furniture on the other terrace and will be moved there if there are many of us for dinner. The patterned pillows come from Trend Design. The tablecloth and the solid color pillows come from Black Design and the rugs come from KID Interiør. I bought the outdoor rug at Colibri in Drammen.
On this side of the house I have kept all the details in purple this summer, including the planting.
The tough weather station I have found on the internet and today it actually shows good weather.In the evenings we also sit here a lot. We have bought a heat lamp and since there is a roof over and living walls around, we sit comfortably and well here, even when the degree creeps down.
It gets quite romantic with a glass of Amarone, t-lights in the wrought iron lamp and log lights in table and wall lamps.
