Blushing Piña Colada is a blushing variation of the traditional Piña Colada. In addition to the taste of pineapple and coconut, it is added grenadine, which falls to the bottom and is partially stirred in. The first time I tasted it was at Mauritzius.
4 cl Bacardi white rum
2 cl pineapple juice
2 cl coconut milk
1/2 lime, juice only
2 cl grenadine
Crushed ice
Pineapple for garnish
Pour crushed ice, pineapple juice, rum, coconut milk and lime into a blender and process for about 20 seconds.
Pour Piña Colada into a cooled glass, pour into grenadine, partially stir it into the drink and garnish with a slice of pineapple.
