Home-baked sausage bread

Why not give the waiting sausage a new and better life? This recipe gives 10 great sausage loaves. I always make a double portion and put the rest in the freezer for later.

2 dl milk

1.5 dl water

25 g yeast

1 tablespoon sugar

3 tablespoons olive oil

500 grams of wheat flour

3/4 ts salt

1 tablespoon sugar

Heat milk and water to 37 degrees. Crumble the yeast and stir it into the liquid. Band sugar, olive oil, flour, salt and sugar. Mix in the milk mixture and knead well together, preferably with a food processor. Adjust ev. with more flour or more milk. Let the dough rise for 1 hour, before dividing it into 10 equal parts and forming fine, oblong sausage loaves, which you place on a baking tray, covered with baking paper.

Let the breads rise under a cloth for 30 minutes, before you brush them with milk, sprinkle on sesame seeds and bake them at 200 degrees, a little far down in the oven for about 15 minutes and have a nice color both above and below. Cool on a rack.
