Homemade rolls are very good. I always bake double portion to keep some in the freezer for later. This recipe yields 16 gorgeous, fluffy rolls.
1 kg of wheat flour
125 g butter
6 dl milk
1 pk yeast
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon sugar
1 ts salt
Melt butter and pour in milk, dissolve yeast in the mixture and add beaten egg.
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and add the milk mixture. Knead well and let the dough rest, covered, in a warm place until it has at least doubled. Divide the dough into 16 equal parts and bake out in an optional shape. Place them on a baking paper-covered baking tray and let them rise to the desired size for a minimum of 30 minutes. Bake at 225 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Then brush with a mixture of beaten egg and milk. Sprinkle with sesame seeds before the egg mixture dries. Cool on a rack.
