New Year's party

I enjoy myself when I set the table. I set aside plenty of time and go and adjust a bit after I finish. I always order pretty low flowers so we can see the person sitting right across the table for us.

This time I have used a light chain, artificial pine twigs, covered with glitter, Christmas balls in white, silver and gold, cones and tealights, both on battery and real tealights in small silver-colored containers. In addition, I have used some small Christmas trees and some small figures.

The silverware is in a raised rose, the glasses are called Sonja and are from Hadeland glassworks. The cover plates come from Hageland.

The flowers come as usual from my local Interflora shop and are incredibly beautiful. I often deliver a napkin when I order flowers, so I'm sure the flowers will match the colors.

When the table is set and the food is under control, all you have to do is dress up, pour yourself a glass of wine and sit down to enjoy a little quiet time, before the guests arrive. I always calculate time for this little break before I get guests.
