Barbecue skewers with veal and yellow rice

Since Myanmar borders both India and Thailand, the food also has ingredients inspired by both countries. These barbecue skewers are characterized by this. If you do not get a veal, you can use other beef, pork, chicken or lamb.

800 g veal fillet or other tender meat

Marinade:

2.5 dl coconut cream

2.5 dl coconut milk

3/4 tbsp curry

3/4 ss tandori masala

3 ss sweet chili dipping sauce

2 cloves garlic

Mix the ingredients for the marinade in a bowl. Divide the meat into cubes and mix it into the marinade. Leave it cold in my. 1 hour, but preferably overnight. Step on barbecue skewers, preferably with onions or other vegetables you fancy in between. Grilled, so it gets a nice color on all sides. It may still be pink in the middle (NB! If you use chicken, it must be cooked through).

Carrot traits:

1 cup yogurt

1 carrot, peeled and grated

1 tablespoon mint sauce

2 cloves garlic, finely chopped

1 tablespoon cumin

1/2 tsp masala salt

Everything is mixed and set cold until it is to be used.

Yellow rice:

Boil jasmine rice for 4-6 people according to the instructions on the package, but add 2 teaspoons of turmeric.
