Peppermint Balls

Peppermint balls taste good and can easily be made with the smallest children. I have rolled in sprinkles that are silver and white, but you can choose something else if you like.

500 g melis

1 egg white

5-10 drops of peppermint oil (available at the pharmacy, for example)

1 small glass sprinkles

Whisk together peppermint and egg white until foamy but not stiff. Stir in the icing sugar, little by little. When the dough has reached a consistency that can be rolled into balls, put it in the fridge for half an hour.

Roll balls about 2 cm in diameter, roll them in sprinkles and place on baking paper. When the peppermint balls have dried a little, they can be put in a tight box and kept cold until they are to be used.
