Sour cream porridge is one of the really old traditional dishes in Norway. You can buy ready-made, which is simply heated, but there is no reason to do that, when it is so easy to make it yourself.
2 cups sour cream
2.5 dl wheat flour
6 dl milk
1 ts salt
Kok rømmen i to minutter. Tilsett halvparten av melet og rør kraftig til det kommer frem smør. Skum av smøret og bruk det når du serverer rømmegrøten. Tilsett resten av melet og spe med melk.
Let the sour cream porridge boil for a few minutes and add the salt just before serving. Serve sour cream porridge with the butter, sugar and cinnamon.
