This starter contains several exciting elements, which together become a delicious combination. Everything can be made ready in advance, so it fits well when you get guests.
2 pk. hot smoked pepper salmon (Troll Salmon)
3 balls of cucumber
1 apple in cubes
1 dl apple juice
1 handful of dill + a little to garnish
3/4 cup sour cream
2 tbsp vinegar
1 pinch of sugar
4 tablespoons roe pearls
2 ss wasabiperler
2 teaspoons horseradish, fox or from tube
Italian flatbread (or Norwegian)
Put the cucumber balls in brine with vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. Let it soak for a few hours, preferably overnight.
Boil the apple pieces in a good apple juice until the pieces are tender, season with sugar, cool.
Run a packet of salmon along with the sour cream, a handful of dill and horseradish, to a smooth mass.
Gently heat the other salmon in a microwave until it is warm.
Serve as in the picture, or as you wish.
