Cuba Libre, or rum and coke was developed during the war between Cuba and Spain, which led to Cuba's independence in 1902. Cuba Libre means "free Cuba", is fast and make and very popular.

Lime
Place ice cubes and a couple of slices of lime in a tall drink glass. Pour into rum and top up with Coca cola. Garnish with a lime wedge and serve.
