Pork og duppe like grandma used to make is real home cooking and one of the great traditional dishes in Norway.
It consists of crispy pork, potatoes, kohlrabi puree and a white sauce, called duppe.

Cabbage radish paste:
1 stor kålrot i terninger
2 gulrøtter
1/2 ts malt muskatnøtt
200 g smør
Cream until it becomes a suitable consistency
Boil turnips and carrots tender in water. Pour off the water, mash the vegetables and add nutmeg, butter and cream until the mash has a nice consistency. Season with salt and pepper.
Saus:
2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons wheat flour
5 dl milk
1/2 ts salt
1/4 ts pepper
1 neve finhakka gressløk
Melt butter in a saucepan and stir in the flour. Strain with a little and a little of the milk, while stirring well. It should become a thick, smooth sauce. Simmer the sauce for about 5 minutes. Stir occasionally so the sauce doesn't get burned. Season with salt and pepper and stir in finely chopped chives.
Boil potatoes and fry the pork slices in butter. Serve potatoes, cabbage raisin and pork and dip as grandma made it.
