I can immediately say that the breakfast at the Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu is one of the strangest I have ever tasted. We were a lot of people there, so it should have been possible to vary this food a bit and maybe serve something for everyone.
If I am to summarize everything we could choose from for breakfast, the common denominator is sugar and I must say I was quite surprised when I tasted the first (and last) sausage. It was more reminiscent of dessert than something that could go well with scrambled eggs and bacon for breakfast. In addition to being sweet, the rolls were also very dry.
Fortunately, I eventually discovered that they had hidden muesli and yogurt in a corner, so that was the rescue for the rest of the days we were there.
