1 country bread or loaf
50 g butter
1 cm garlic from the tube
100 g diced bacon, crispy fried
250 g grated, preferably well-aged cheese of your choice. Preferably several strokes.
Melt butter and add garlic.
Divide the bread into slices, almost through. Let the bottom hang together. Brush the slices with the butter mixture. Be careful not to let the bread fall apart. Distribute the bacon cubes between the slices. Grate the cheese and press it down between the slices. Brush a little garlic butter on top and bake in the oven at 180 degrees until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden.
