Cinnamon in the swing – cinnamon buns are very good. I always make double portions, bake what I'm not going to spend a few minutes shorter and put in the freezer. When I'm going to use the frozen ones, I thaw them and finish cooking them, so they taste freshly made.
7 dl lukewarm milk
140 g melted butter
100 g yeast
2 beaten eggs
160 g sugar
2 teaspoons cardamom
2 ts salt
1,2 kg mel
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Everything is kneaded together and raised for a long time, preferably a couple of hours.
Fill:
100 g butter - room temperature
1 dl sugar
3 tablespoons cinnamon

Divide the dough into two parts. Roll each part into a rectangular body. Spread on the butter, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Roll up and cut into slices, which are placed on trays, lined with baking paper. Let them rise under cloth for another hour. Bake at 200 degrees until golden and fine (approx. 10 - 12 minutes). Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
