The turkey

Pyttikalkun is tasty leftover food. Once I have roasted a whole turkey, there will always be leftovers they can be used for many kinds of dishes and you will find more on the blog.

This recipe is suitable for 4 people

2 onion strips

1 pk diced bacon

8 medium-sized, boiled potatoes

1 pc. sliced aromatic mushrooms or mushrooms

500 g diced turkey meat

4 beaten eggs

Salt and pepper

Fry the onion in butter until golden, before adding bacon and mushrooms and frying until everything has a nice color. Add potatoes, turkey and fry on low heat until everything is warmed through. Stir in beaten egg and season with salt and pepper.

Serve pyttikalkun with a BBQ sauce or ketchup and a good bread, e.g. walnut bread, which you will find a recipe for here.
