Fried, shredded root vegetables are suitable for both fish and meat dishes. It has become extra easy to make, since you can buy ready-made packages of beetroot mix in the store at the moment. It consists of grated beets, carrots and parsnips. If you do not get hold of this mix, you can peel and tear them yourself.
I melt butter in a casserole dish, add the vegetables, season with salt and pepper and let them bake at 200 degrees for 20 minutes. Tastes lovely.
