Meat pudding of deer

Deer meatloaf is a traditional dish served with delicious brown sauce, potatoes and optional vegetables.

1/2 dl grill

1 dl cream

1 finely chopped onion

500 g minced meat of deer

1 beaten egg

2 pk sliced bacon

1 ts salt

1 ts pepper

Mix grill flour and cream in a bowl and let it swell for 5 minutes. Knead together all the ingredients except the bacon.

Place the bacon slices with a little overlap in a baking dish. Let the ends hang over the edge. Distribute the dough in the mold. Pack over the bacon ends and bake in the middle of the oven at 150 degrees for about 1 hour.

Served with brown sauce, potatoes, fried mushrooms and optional vegetables, e.g. cauliflower or beans.
