Greek pulled pork

Greek pulled pork is one of the many varieties we use pork neck for and we think it tastes fresh and good with tzatziki and some salad.

Pork neck:

1 pork neck

2 dl water

2 tablespoons vegetable stock

3 tablespoons tzatziki spices

2 cloves finely chopped garlic

1 ts pepper

2 ts salt

Place the pork neck in a baking dish/pan, pour water and funds and sprinkle with garlic and spices. Put on a lid or cover with foil, put the meat in the oven at 80 degrees for 12 hours and turn it over after half the time.

Tear the pork neck into strips of two forks and mix with a little of the liquid, until you get a juicy pulp with good taste.

Tzatziki:

3 dl yogurt natural, Greek type

1/2 gherkin, grated coarsely, added a little salt and drained for 15 min. in colander

Mix together and season with finely chopped mint, garlic, pepper and lemon. The tzatziki will only get better if left in the fridge for a few hours.

Serve Greek pulled pork with tzatziki and some finely shredded salad in either burger bread or pita, which you can find a recipe for HERE.
