Chinese chicken casserole with noodles is a pretty quick dish to make and it's great for kids too, if you ditch the chili. This recipe is suitable for 4 people.
Start with the sweet and sour sauce:
3 ss sukker
1 dl soyasaus
3 ss hvitvins- eller drueeddik
2 ss tomatpuré
1 ts finhakket fersk ingefær
1 finhakket chili
2 dl vann
2 ss maisenna
Mix all the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Set aside until to use
500 g kyllingfilet i strimler
1 finhakket løk
1 rød paprika i strimler
2 finely shredded spring onions
1 boks ananas i biter inkl. saften, som brukes i sausen
Saute onions and chicken in oil in a saucepan. Add the sauce and the rest of the vegetables and let it simmer for a few minutes. Serve Chinese chicken casserole with noodles and preferably with some fresh herbs on top.
