Chocolate muffins taste good for both small and large. If you are going to serve them to children, you may want to drop the chili, even if it just feels a little warm in your mouth. The recipe for chocolate muffins gives about 12 muffins.
3.5 dl wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
0.5 dl cocoa
0,5 ts salt
1.5 dl sugar
1/2 red chili, without core, finely chopped
100 g dark cooking chocolate, chopped
1/2 dl walnuts, finely chopped
1/2 dl hazelnuts, finely chopped
2 egg
1 tablespoon butter, melted and cooled
2.25 dl milk
Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt and vanilla sugar in a bowl . Stir in sugar, chocolate, chili and nuts.
Whisk together eggs and butter. Add milk and stir it together with the flour mixture. Fill the muffin tins 3/4 full. Bake chocolate muffins in the middle of the oven for 15 - 20 minutes at 200 degrees.
Chocolate muffins can be eaten as is, or garnished with powdered sugar or whipped cream and berries.
