Barbecue skewers from Myanmar

Barbecue skewers from Myanmar are exciting. They mix flavors from several of the countries around them. In addition, they are known for very healthy food. I can recommend these barbecue skewers. They can also be made in the oven at 200 degrees, but then they won't get the delicious grilled taste.

6 stk kyllingfileter


0.5 tsp turmeric

1 ts chilipulver

0.5 tsp cinnamon

0.5 teaspoon allspice

1 ts salt

3 ss olje

6 stk finhakket sjalottløk

2,5 cm ingefær

2 fedd hvitløk, presset

1 stk finhakket, rød chili

2,5 ts garam masala

The juice of 1 lime

Cut the chicken fillets into long, thin strips. Mix the ingredients for the marinade in a bowl. Add the chicken strips and rub in the seasoning. Let the meat marinate for a couple of hours or preferably overnight. Thread the chicken strips onto barbecue skewers and place them on the grill for 5-10 minutes, until cooked through.
