Reindeer fillet with hunter sauce

I have chosen to serve with boat potatoes, but you can use boiled or mashed potatoes as well.

200 g reinsdyrfilet per pers

2 tablespoons butter

2 finely chopped onions

1 box of sour cream

3 dl cream

2 pk sliced mushrooms

4 tablespoons game fund

2 tablespoons hunter mix (spices)

1 dl blackcurrant syrup

Salt and pepper

Fry the onion in a saucepan, at a low temperature in the butter until it has a nice brown color. Towards the end, add the mushrooms. Add the rest of the ingredients and cook for 15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

Season the rice fillets with salt and pepper before grilling for 2 minutes on each side.

Boat potatoes:

Drizzle a little olive oil in a long pan, divide the paws into boats, put them in the long pan, add salt and pepper, drizzle over a little more oil and put them in the oven at full blast. When they start to get a little color, turn the heat down to 200 degrees and let them cook until they are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

Served with e.g. cauliflower.
