Sloppy Joe

Sloppy Joe is a dish from the USA, which is easy and quick to make. It's not my favorite, but can be an alternative to the Friday taco. The recipe is suitable for 2-3 people

1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon olive oil
400 g ground beef or ground beef
1 green pepper, finely chopped
1 large onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 tablespoon tomato paste
2 dl cup ketchup
1 dl water
1 tsp mustard
3/4 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 dash hotsauce (optional)

Brown the meat in the mixture of butter and oil. Add onions, garlic and peppers and brown further for 2-3 minutes. Stir in the rest of the ingredients and let it cook on low heat 15 min.
Serve the meat mixture in burger bread and if you are extra crispy... Put in a lettuce leaf. A fistful of potato chips for each is also included.
