Tuna can be varied almost endlessly and this variety is inspired from Nice in France. Tuna is fried like steak, it tastes delicious and is not at all similar to the one you get in a can. The recipe is suitable for 4 people.
The Niçoise mixture:
200 g mini tomatoes, preferably several colors, divided into 2 or 4, depending on the size
100 g green olives sliced
100 g sliced black olives
2 tbsp capers
7 tablespoons of olive oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
Fresh herbs for garnish, I have used parsley and sour clover
Mix olives, capers and tomatoes in a bowl. Mix together 7 tablespoons of oil and lemon juice for a dressing, pour it over the tomato mixture and let it rest for 1 hour at room temperature, so that you get the most pleasure from the flavors.
4 x 200 g tunfiskbiff
1 tablespoon fish stock
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 ts pepper
Mix 1 tablespoon olive oil with fish foundation and pepper and grease the tuna steaks with the mixture. Grill the tuna or fry them in a grill pan with a little oil for 2 min. on either side.
Place the tuna steaks on a platter, put the niçoise mixture over and garnish with herbs.
