Pasta gratin is a dish that is easy to make and appeals to both small and large. This recipe is suitable for 4 people.

500 g patty dough or minced meat

300 g pasta tubes or screws

2 finely chopped onions

2 cloves finely chopped garlic

1/3 ltr cream

1 box chopped canned tomatoes (preferably Mutti)

2 tbsp tomato puree

200 g grated cheese

1 teaspoon dried oregano

2 stalks fresh oregano

1 tsp thyme

2 bay leaves

Salt and pepper

Oil for frying

50 g grated parmesan

Cook pasta according to the instructions on the package.

Brown chop dough, onion and garlic in a frying pan with a little oil. Add herbs, cream, tomatoes, tomato puree, salt and pepper and cook on low heat for 1 hour.

Pick out bay leaves and oregano stalks. Layer the chop mixture and pasta in a casserole dish, sprinkle a layer of parmesan in the middle and sprinkle grated cheese on top.


Bake the pasta gratin in the middle of the oven at 200 degrees for approx. 20-30 minutes, until the cheese takes on a nice color and serve with a good salad. It can also taste good with some good, freshly baked bread.
