Sweet scorpion barbecue skewers with boat potatoes and aioli

Sweet scorpion barbecue skewers with boat potatoes and aioli are perfect barbecue food. The potatoes cook themselves in the oven, the aioli can be made in advance or bought ready-made, so then you just have to watch the skewers and the corn on the grill.

Most people have probably heard of Chili Claus and his madness of eating strong chilies as entertainment. In the wake of his fame, he has also launched various chili products, including spice. He classifies the products in wind strength, from 5 to 15, where 5 is completely edible and 15 is only for the very toughest.

Here I have used one of his spices, which is called sweet scorpion grill mix and has wind strength 7.

Divide red onions, peppers and beef into suitable mouthfuls and place them on a skewer. Lubricate them with a little neutral oil and season them with sweet scorpion.

Boat potatoes:

Drizzle a little olive oil in a long pan, divide the paws into boats, put them in the long pan, add salt and pepper, drizzle over a little more oil and put them in the oven at full blast. When they start to get a little color, turn the heat down to 200 degrees and let them cook until they are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

Served with aioli, which you can find the recipe for HERE .
