Sumptuous apple pie

This apple cake is powerful, tasty and goes perfectly with ice cream for dessert. The sumptuous one tastes absolutely wonderful when it's still lukewarm.

400 g sugar

400 g butter

400 g wheat flour

7 egg

2 teaspoons bakingpowder

2 teaspoons vanilla sugar

1.5 dl milk

12 apple firm, cut into cubes

2 dl raisins

Topping:

Cinnamon

Almond flakes

Perlesukker

Stir butter and sugar lightly and fluffily. Preferably use room temperature butter or margarine. Stir in one egg at a time.

Sift in flour, baking powder and vanilla sugar and mix together so that it becomes a smooth mass. Stir in the milk. Stir in apples and raisins at the end. The batter is distributed in a long pan lined with baking paper, approx. 25 x 36 cm. Sprinkle with cinnamon, almond flakes and powdered sugar on top and fry for approx. 180 degrees for about 30-40 minutes.

Warm apple cake tastes good with ice cream or vanilla cream.
