Serbia's culinary traditions are a unique blend of Mediterranean cuisine, Central European cuisine and food from the other Balkan countries. Each region of Serbia has its own food traditions, but they also have some dishes that are popular all over the country.

The food is seasonal and they have ingredients that are very fresh and of high quality. Grilled meat, minced meat, fresh vegetables, bread, cheese, pastries and wine are important in Serbian food culture.
