Carrot raita is the slightly unknown brother of raita with cucumber. It is commonly served as an accompaniment to food from India, Pakistan, Myanmar, Nepal and Bangladesh.
1 cup yogurt
1 carrot, peeled and grated
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 tablespoon mint sauce
1 tablespoon cumin
1/2 tsp masala salt
Everything is mixed, but save some of the carrot for decoration. Keep the carrot raita cold until ready to use.
