When we have mackerel left after dinner, either fried or grilled, I make mackerel in tomato and it is very popular in our family.
2 dl chiliketsjup
1/2 dl eplesidereddik
1/2 cup sugar
Freshly caught mackerel
Stir together chilli sauce, apple cider vinegar, sugar, a little salt and pepper and pour it over the cleaned mackerel. Leave it in the fridge until the next morning and serve it for breakfast. It is very popular and has a more exciting and natural taste than the one you get in a box.
