Airy and delicious loff is easy to make and can be frozen and taken up later.
125 g butter
6 dl milk
1 pk yeast
1 kg of wheat flour
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 ts salt
Melt butter and pour in milk, dissolve yeast in the mixture and add beaten egg.
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and add the milk mixture. Knead well and let the dough rest, covered, in a warm place until it has at least doubled. Divide the dough into 2 equal parts and bake out in an optional shape. Place them on a baking paper-covered baking tray or in loaf tins and let them rise to the desired size for at least 30 minutes. Bake at 190 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Then brush with a mixture of beaten egg and milk. Sprinkle with sesame seeds or poppy seeds before the egg mixture dries. Cool on a rack.
